About “Aiiku Clinic”

Aiiku Clinic is a part of the services offered by Imperial Gift Foundation Boshi-Aiiku-Kai (Aiiku Association for Maternal and Child Health and Welfare, 恩賜財団愛育会). Boshi-Aiiku-Kai was founded with a gift from the Showa Emperor in 1934 as an organization to improve healthcare of mothers and children in Japan. Aiiku Hospital (愛育病院) was established in 1938 as one of the services. The hospital has been committed to delivering standard-setting medical care for mothers and children ever since, and it has been unwavering in its commitment to advancing that care throughout the decades.
The International Unit is a private outpatient clinic run by a multi-lingual team. All physicians, midwives and receptionists are private staff who will provide in-depth discussion, counseling and treatments in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese.
We welcome all patients–Japanese and non-Japanese speaking—who seek adequate time for consultations. Our services are available to you whether you plan to deliver your baby at Aiiku Hospital, other hospitals in Japan or back in your home country. We provide high quality maternity services, and all gynecologic in-patient procedures are offered at the new Aiiku Hospital in Tamachi.
